The Wild Human Initiative

Promoting personal empowerment and cultural transformation

Wilderhumans Unite!

Welcome to the tribe, wild humans!...

Welcome, wild human!
There is beautiful strength in diversity and unity.

This is a grassroots movement of the people.
May we rediscover the wisdoms of the past
and blend them with the power of the future
to build a just and sustainable world for us all.

We are free-thinking wild humans,
working together to build grassroots networks,
to subvert the dominant paradigms,
to do our part to create positive social change,
and to create the world we all dream of.

We aspire to empower each other
with wild human fellowship,
and with profitable cottage industries,
so we can fund our efforts to rescue people
from what we call Babylon,
which we hope to dismantle and reconstruct
into healthier and happier forms.

We strive to awaken, empower, and liberate
our fellow Children of the Earth
by answering the wants and needs
of our bodies, minds, hearts, and souls,
with food, music, arts,
urban and wilderness survival skills,
adventures, capers, and compassionate love.

The Wild Human Initiative
represents a growing movement
to reclaim our natural humanity.

We want to provide each other
with opportunities to experience once again
what it truly means to be human.
The people of this movement believe
we can only know what it means to be human
by living in a context of community,
whether online or by living together
in place and space.

This movement seeks to create viable
Wild Human communities from Coast to Coast
and continent to continent.
This is a movement focused on
empowerment and transformation,
by working with what is real
and by living in ways we find magical.

Thus, we took our own Wild Human initiative
and launched this grassroots nonprofit
to represent that movement, and
to promote, advocate, and spread
Wild Humanism
to every heart wanting to know about it
and be a part of it.

May Wild Hearts Always Beat Freely!!!
Wilderhumans Unite!!!

  • A Wild Human is a spirited person
  • who has chosen to revert to and reclaim their authentic human nature,
  • by refusing to be fully domesticated,
  • by living adventurously and creatively,
  • and by exploring outside the bounds of mainstream dictates.
  •
  • Wild Humans like to build bridges between traditional and contemporary human lifeways
  • (by learning both wilderness and urban survival skills,
  • by loving both the woods and the cities).
  • We like aspiring for personal empowerment,
  • and encouraging cultural transformation.
  • We like to build grassroots community,
  • and we love to go on capers and adventures of our own wild designs.

In Tribal Solidarity

I feel compelled to manifest grassroots community building.  So many people, including Rainbows and wild humans, feel isolated and compartmentalized by modern life. It's difficult to be authentic these days. And that difficulty can strangle your soul and put out your fire. Love is the fire in my heart, and I will not allow it to be snuffed out by Babylon. I hope you won't either. I feel sure you won't, because you feel a kinship with wild humans.

Together we can provide safe and inspiring places to gather online, and safe places in the physical world too. We can make underground zines, xerox them and pass them out. We can set up a table and hand out muffins and water and start conscious conversations. We can practice nonviolent resistance, or squatting to raise awareness, or dumpster diving or whatever you feel called to do. Try it all and narrow it down by what you enjoy. Life has been much more interesting for me since I started to do this.

I feel the modern world has a severe malnutrition in the family/tribal aspect of life, which touches everything from how we eat our meals to how we are initiated into the important phases of our lives. I want to see and help create a much stronger sense of connectedness and community for us. I want and need for you to do it with me, and that would give me great joy, as well as a lot of other people too.

I also want to give love to all of you out there in search of home and family and tribe. One day we will find rest, and until then wild humans, love your life!!! Better stressed than trapped, better tired than dead. Remember that hope is the hard part of humble, and love is the hard part of hope. Together in spirit as phamily, life is our first blessing, realization is our connection. Together, my phamily, we will overcome and find our way home. There are many options within life, so find what suits you, and then take full advantage of what Creator has led you to.

In tribal solidarity,
Manitou Magwa
